Reading dalao.ai requires no account. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not fingerprint. There are no third-party scripts, pixels or ad networks on any page.
Signing in stores your email address, linked Google or GitHub account identifiers, name and avatar, plus a session cookie. Google sign-in requests only basic profile and email information; GitHub sign-in requests your profile and verified email. We never request access to your Google Drive, contacts or private repositories, or post on your behalf. Provider access tokens are used during sign-in and are not stored. Linking another sign-in method requires your signed-in account.
Saved products are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are not synced to your account; you can remove them from the Saved page or clear your browser’s site data.
Recently viewed products are kept on this device, up to 40 products. Clear them from Recently viewed or your browser’s site data. Saved and recent product identifiers are sent to our server when you open these lists to retrieve their public details.
Following products stores your account ID, the product ID and when you followed it. This builds your Following feed; it does not subscribe you to email. Unfollowing removes that connection.
Connected sources store the official publication feed you provide, your account ID and connection preferences. Public excerpts, source links and dated measurements are stored on the product record. Pausing a feed stops future imports from that feed; it does not remove previously published public records.
Recommendations are stored as one row per person per product so they cannot be counted twice. They are shown only as totals.
Product suggestions associate the repository you suggest with your GitHub login. Suggestions follow the same discovery checks as automatically found repositories.
Dispatch addresses are stored by us and, when configured, by our sending provider. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe.
Builder and product profiles describe public work using public sources: the product's own site, its public repository and public statements. To correct a fact or remove a profile, email hello@dalao.ai.
Deletion. Email us from the address on the account and everything tied to it is deleted within seven days.
