marimo 0.24.0 treats Hugging Face Hub as a first-class remote storage backend, so datasets, models, Spaces and buckets show up in the storage sidebar and hf:// paths can be read straight from Polars, pandas or DuckDB. The editor gains a single export dialog, and the chat sidebar can give the AI capabilities such as web search. One small breaking change: mo.ui.file_browser now sets restrict_navigation=True by default, keeping navigation inside the target directory.
