Using uv as an installer

Aider explains two ways it uses uv to ship its Python command-line tool: a curl install script and an aider-install package from pip. Both have uv place aider in an isolated environment pinned to Python 3.12, installing that Python version if it is missing. According to Aider, these installs run far faster than pip or pipx and have led to far fewer reports of dependency conflicts.

Everything else is installed in a stand-alone environment created by uv.
