The Ultimate Guide to Web Scraping (2026)

Browser Use published a 2026 web scraping guide explaining how AI scrapers replace page-specific parsing scripts, and splitting scraping into basic jobs that need only a URL and interactive jobs that act on the page. Citing its own stealth benchmark of 71 websites, it reports an 81% success rate for Browser Use against 42% for Browserbase. In a test extracting the top 20 Hacker News articles and their first comments, Browser Use averaged $0.33 and about 60 seconds per run, versus $1.46 and about 401 seconds for Browserbase.

This is fragile. Every site needs a new script.
