Image generation (experimental)
Ollama added experimental image generation on macOS, with Windows and Linux coming soon, saving images to the current directory and previewing them inline in supporting terminals. The first models include Z-Image Turbo, a 6B text-to-image model from Alibaba's Tongyi Lab that renders English and Chinese text and uses the Apache 2.0 license. The other is Black Forest Labs' FLUX.2 Klein in 4B and 9B sizes, with the 4B model under Apache 2.0 and the 9B under a non-commercial license.
FLUX.2 Klein handles readable text in images well, useful for UI mockups and designs with typography.
