AnythingLLM v1.16.0 can generate images with /img once a supported provider is set up, and image attachments can be edited or combined when the provider allows it. Tools can be switched on or off during an agent chat without a new session, and stopping a reply now ends the inference itself. The file picker accepts whole folders with their hierarchy, although only top-level files are imported for now. The release also adds a create-scheduled-job agent tool and You.com as a web search provider.
Now, during agentic chats you can freely toggle tools on/off at will without needing to reload or start a new session.
