Tree-sitter code graphs: how Graphify parses code
Tree-sitter sits under every Graphify code graph: each file, class, function, call, and import begins as a node in a syntax tree. That choice is why the graph builds locally, needs no model, and yields the same graph when the same commit is parsed twice.
Using a real itsdangerous checkout, the post shows how the extractor records calls as file facts with lines, keeps models for docs and media that lack grammars, and skips rebuilds when a watch finds no relevant changes.
Every file, class, function, call and import in a Graphify code graph starts as a node in a tree-sitter syntax tree.
