Hono v4.13.0 applies a series of low-level optimizations to the core request and response path, reaching up to 1.25x on common routes in the project's benchmark. The framework now supports the HTTP QUERY method from RFC 10008 through app.query(), and the Cache, ETag and CORS middleware handle it. A new Method Not Allowed middleware returns 405 with an Allow header when a path matches but the method does not. RegExpRouter now throws UnsupportedPathError when routes are registered, and the Cache middleware changes its internal key format for every method.
