Cline CLI v3.0.74 joins a task that is already running in another Cline app rather than launching a second run that cannot be stopped, and if that app closes mid-task, pending requests now return a clear error rather than hanging. When the Hub freezes, cline hub status and cline doctor no longer hang, because the health check times out after 3 seconds and reports the Hub as not running. The release also lowers the retry limit for model requests from 5 to 3 and fixes problems such as free-tier Gemini keys getting a 429 error on every turn.
Opening a task that's already running in another Cline app now attaches to that run instead of starting a second one that couldn't be stopped.
