OpenJarvis: a local-first personal AI is now available to run with Ollama

OpenJarvis, an open-source framework from Stanford's Hazy Research and Scaling Intelligence labs, lets people build personal AI agents that run on their own hardware, local-first with the cloud optional. Version 1.0 ships with built-in Ollama support, and its install script detects an existing Ollama setup automatically. It includes presets such as a morning briefing, research across files and a local coding assistant, and tracks energy, cost and latency alongside accuracy.

Models run locally, and the cloud is optional. Energy, cost, and latency are tracked alongside accuracy.
