Midjourney’s First Acquisition
Midjourney founder David Holz announced the company's first acquisition, the astrology app Co–Star. Its founder Banu will bring her team to Midjourney to help build a broader product and design organization while Co–Star stays under her control. Holz says Midjourney is growing into an unusual research lab, with Midjourney Medical as the start and about half a dozen similarly ambitious projects to be announced over the next six months, and the company is hiring.
Co–Star itself is a wonderful project, and it will remain entirely under Banu’s control and direction.
