Serve notebooks from GitHub on the fly with marimo
marimo shows how to turn a GitHub repository of notebooks into a set of interactive data apps: a script pulls the .py notebooks through the GitHub API and mounts each one as an app on marimo's ASGI server. The sample uses FastAPI with a Jinja2 home page, declares dependencies inline via PEP 723 so uv can run it directly, and ships as a Docker image whose environment variables choose the repository and folder.
marimo’s server can mount notebooks as web apps on any ASGI server, making it easy to deploy data apps.
