shadcn/ui 4.22.0 moves to Zod 4, so shadcn/schema and @shadcn/registry/schema export Zod 4 schemas that no longer typecheck when handed to Zod 3's z. Projects still on Zod 3 should rely on exported types such as RegistryItem, RegistryItemFile and Config and on methods like registryItemSchema.array() instead of z.infer and z.array. The @shadcn/registry dependency is bumped to 0.2.0.
Zod errors expose issues, not errors. Validation messages now use Zod 4's wording.
