Why Taxwire standardized on marimo for data exploration and internal tools
Steven Schmatz, co-founder and CTO of sales tax compliance firm Taxwire, says Jupyter never fit the team's Git, CI/CD and pytest workflows or grew into real software. After switching to marimo, engineers and tax experts share one environment for exploration and internal tools such as CSV calculation flows, database search and a job manager, all deployed inside a Next.js app. According to Taxwire, tax experts now contribute code themselves, which cuts down on coordination.
