Replit launches Cloud Agents, letting non-engineers submit tested pull requests to company codebases
Replit launched Cloud Agents on October 27 for Pro and Enterprise customers. Users connect a GitHub or GitLab repo and describe a change in plain language; the agent edits code in an isolated cloud sandbox, tests it in the running app, and opens a pull or merge request with screenshots and video. Engineers still decide what merges. Turning review feedback into team skills remains in early access.
Why it matters
It extends Replit's coding agent from building new apps to existing company codebases, so designers, support leads and other non-engineers can hand engineers reviewable, tested changes.

- @ReplitXNow anyone can now bring their ideas into the company codebase on Replit. Replit Cloud Agents can turn natural language into a tested pull request, and engineers still approve the final code before it ships. Our own design team used Replit to safely ship over 250k lines of code in the last 6 months, reviewed and approved by engineers. https://replit.com/blog/anyone-can-bring-ideas-to-company-codebase?utm_source=x&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=company_codebaseView original ·
