OpenAI will pool ChatGPT and Codex usage into one token-based allowance starting in December

OpenAI says that from December, as Work's agent features move into ChatGPT, Plus, Pro and Business plans will share one token-based allowance across ChatGPT and Codex. Usage depends on model and task; Instant chat won't count. Combined usage and reset times show in Settings > Usage, and users can wait, upgrade or buy credits at the limit.
