Cline desktop v0.0.40 fixes custom providers added through Add Provider failing when a task runs, and new chats now remember whether Cloud or Local was last used along with the chosen Cloud model. When an MCP tool returns more output than fits in context, the agent gets a preview plus a link it can page through so the rest is no longer lost; the model catalog is also refreshed, and because Vultr model ids were renamed upstream, a pinned Vultr model may need to be re-selected.
