The future of Obsidian plugins
Obsidian has launched Obsidian Community, a directory and developer dashboard for plugins and themes with category browsing, search, sorting and a safety scorecard per project, and it says the community has built more than 4,000 plugins and themes since the 2020 API release, with plugin downloads topping 120 million. Every version now gets automated security and code-quality review rather than only the first submission, manual review continues, and the new system cleared more than 2,300 queued submissions within a few days.
The new automated review system scans every version for security and code quality, not just the initial submission .
