Zed v1.15.0 adds a git.diff_base setting that decides whether gutters, file-status colors and git: diff compare uncommitted changes with HEAD or all branch changes with the merge base of the default branch. Files can be dragged from the Project Panel into external apps on macOS and Linux Wayland. JSX and TSX gain linked editing for custom elements and Emmet completions inside return and arrow-function bodies. The release fixes the bundled npm cache growing without bound, which could take up many gigabytes of disk.
