Cline desktop v0.0.44 renders Mermaid diagrams in chat as interactive diagrams with copy, download, fullscreen and pan and zoom, and reconnects the session automatically for up to a minute if the Cline Hub connection drops mid-chat. The release fixes local and self-hosted providers that need no API key, such as LM Studio and Ollama, failing every turn with Missing API key, raises the startup limit for MCP servers launched with npx or uvx on Windows from 3 to 10 seconds, and fixes Claude through a custom Anthropic base URL failing with a 400 error.
