Val TownProduct update
Val Town · Changelog – September 10, 2026
Val Town upgraded its runtime from Deno 2.7.5 to 2.9.6, so vals can read HTML, CSS, Markdown and other files directly with text imports. HTTP vals gain an App view that embeds the rendered website next to code, logs, analytics and storage. Pro and Business accounts now come with 14-day free trials. Townie's Normal mode is replaced by Auto mode, which skips permission prompts for low-risk tool calls but still asks before potentially destructive actions such as writing to SQLite.
Custom email addresses moved out of the domains settings page into their own val.town/settings/emails page.
