Cline v4.1.23 makes Generate Commit Message follow conventions such as language and format in .clinerules, and asks a model to continue once when its response ends without a recognized finish reason. The release fixes Claude through a custom Anthropic base URL failing with a 400 error since 4.1.22 and Kimi K3 and similar models rejecting requests, lets Cline page through MCP tool output that exceeds the context, and because Vultr model ids were renamed upstream, a pinned Vultr model may need to be re-selected.
