ZedFrom the builder

Zed is 1.0

Zed has declared version 1.0. The team describes five years of work across Mac, Windows and Linux that produced Git integration, SSH remoting, a debugger and more than a million lines of code. The editor runs several agents in parallel, offers keystroke-level edit predictions and connects to Claude Agent, Codex, OpenCode and Cursor via the Agent Client Protocol. Zed for Business, announced alongside, will give companies centralized billing, role-based access controls and team management, while work continues on DeltaDB, a CRDT-based sync engine.

It means we've reached a tipping point where most developers can quickly feel at home in Zed.
