Introducing Parallel Agents in Zed
Zed launched Parallel Agents, letting users orchestrate several agents at once in one window, with a new Threads Sidebar that controls which folders and repositories each agent can reach and tracks threads as they run. Each thread can use a different agent, work across repositories and optionally isolate its worktree, and the default layout now docks threads on the left with the Project and Git panels on the right. The feature ships open source in the latest release, and Zed says it keeps running at 120 frames per second.
