Introducing Theme Builder
Zed released Theme Builder, a visual theme editor with an interactive live replica of the Zed interface and a sidebar listing every theme token by category. Zed now has more than 200 color tokens across 16 UI categories, 10 syntax categories and multiplayer cursor colors, which makes editing JSON by hand a guessing game. Changes show up instantly, and finished themes can be exported as theme overrides or packaged as an extension file.
Change one color, and you're suddenly playing whack-a-mole with readability issues across your entire interface.
