Conductor, a tool for running teams of coding agents, is joining Meta and will shut down its cloud service within about two weeks
Conductor, an app launched in July 2025 that lets developers run several coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex at once, announced on November 4 that it is joining Meta. No deal terms were disclosed. From that day Conductor stopped taking new sign-ups and downloads; free users can no longer upgrade, paid users keep paid features for free, and active subscribers will be refunded. Conductor Cloud will first go read-only, then shut down and start deleting user data, so users can move cloud workspaces to their own machine or export all their data. The local app will keep getting new models and critical bug fixes until early 2027. The team says it is building a new interface and hopes to ship it early next year.
Why it matters
A tool for coordinating multiple coding agents is being taken in by a big company, and current Conductor users need to move or export their cloud data before the service shuts down.
