Cursor launches Live Apps so cloud agents can build, host and share apps with a link
Official source · auto-listedOriginal title Build Live Apps in Cursor
On November 5, Cursor's changelog said you can build live apps inside Cursor and share them with a link. Start a cloud agent and say you want an app; Cursor scaffolds the web app, can spin up Postgres, sets auth behind Cursor SSO, and provisions hosting. If the app needs your systems, such as a data warehouse, it asks for secrets. Nothing goes live until security checks pass and you explicitly publish; checks catch issues like secrets in files. Team admins can see every app and secret, add review rules, approve blocked publishes, and unpublish any app. Apps deploy from new or existing repos on Cursor Origin and GitHub; GitLab support is coming later. Available on all paid plans with cloud agents enabled.
Why it matters
It connects writing the tool to sharing a working link, so internal apps need not stay on localhost.
