Val Town's Townie now defaults to DeepSeek V4 Flash. Val Town supports the AGENTS.md convention through a special .config val, whose instructions are injected into Townie chats and MCP sessions. Environment variable groups can now be created, updated and attached for an org through the API. The MCP server gains merge_branch and delete_branch tools, bringing the total to 54.
You can now add tags to vals in val settings.
