Paperclip v2026.916.0 moves AI runtime credentials such as Claude and Codex subscriptions and API keys into Connections, under the same grants and permission boundaries as other accounts, and they can be connected or repaired from the task that needs them. Agents can get their own email addresses through AgentMail, and experimental chat connectors bring Slack, Discord, Telegram and Microsoft Teams conversations into tasks. Cheap model profiles are removed, leaving one model-selection path for normal and recovery work. Agent APIs stop returning plaintext credentials, so integrations that read credentials from those responses will break.
